Gold deals on Moscow Exchange fall 14.5% to 21 tns in Jan–Jul
MOSCOW, Aug 2 (PRIME) -- The physical volume of deals with gold on the Moscow Exchange decreased 14.5% on the year to 21.2 tonnes in January–July, the exchange said in a statement on Thursday.
The amount of deals with silver more than tripled on the year to 2.041 tonnes in the period.
In monetary terms, gold and silver deals amounted to 54 billion rubles, almost flat on the year.
In July, the combined volume of deals with gold and silver reached 9.9 billion rubles, in physical terms 3.9 tonnes of gold ant 280.1 kilograms of silver.
In 2017, 115.7 billion ruble deals were concluded on the Moscow Exchange.
